Unser Gast Katharine Hikmet wird in diesem Vortrag eine Einführung in den Schutz von Kindern und vulnerablen Personen geben.

Wir besprechen:

• Was ist Safeguarding? Wie können Lehrkräfte problematische Situation erkennen?
• Prävention: Welche Maßnahmen können ergriffen werden?
• Wie verhalte ich mich als Lehrkraft korrekt?
• Safeguarding als Mitglied der Royal Academy of Dance: Welche Informationen, Materialien und Unterstützung stellt die RAD für mich bereit?
• Welche weiteren Schritte unternimmt die RAD in Zukunft für den Schutz von Kindern und vulnerablen Personen?

Die Teilnahme  wird mit einer  zertifizierten CPD-Stunde bewertet.

Es besteht die Möglichkeit, Fragen zu stellen. Gern helfen wir Ihnen, Ihre Fragen zu übersetzen.

Dieser Kurs bietet eine Einführung als Grundlage für weitere Fortbildungsangebote zum Thema Kinderschutz im Mitgliedsjahr 2023/24.

This webinar introduces participants to safeguarding for teaching members of the RAD. Participants are encouraged to start thinking about how they can protect children and vulnerable people from harm, how they can create a safe learning environment and how to act if concerns arise. Participants will learn about the six principles of safeguarding and preventive measures.

By attending this webinar, participants will feel empowered to implement safeguarding measures in their classes/in their dance school and start their safeguarding journey.

The aims of this interactive webinar are to:

• equip participants with an understanding of what safeguarding is,
• differentiate the different types of harm and abuse teachers might witness in a dance school environment,
• provide awareness on the six principles of safeguarding, and
• understand the safeguarding process at the RAD.

On completion of the interactive webinar, participants will:

• have an increased understanding of what safeguarding is,
• be familiar with the principles of safeguarding,
• know where to find safeguarding guidance at the RAD,
• feel confident to implement first safeguarding measures in their class / in their dance school, and
• feel confident to continue learning about different aspects of safeguarding.
